A UTAH ORIGINAL SINCE 2005

The Utah connection isn't branding.
It's the record.

Before TyFactor had a polished company story, it had Utah clients. The surviving record starts with Powerplay Performance in Ogden in May 2005 and K&T Performance that summer.

MAY 2005 → TODAY

Before the pitch deck, there were shop photos, DNS changes and owners calling each other.

The early work was hands-on: drive to the shop, collect photos, redraw a logo, move hosting, configure email, build a store, wire a form, teach the owner how to update it, then fix whatever broke next. That is how TyFactor became part of a Utah business network instead of merely selling into one.

TyFactor.com registration completed June 13, 2005.

The recovered record

Two decades of connected work.

2005

Powerplay + K&T

Powerplay Performance in Ogden and K&T Performance establish the earliest recovered Utah client trail.

2006

Four Wheel Addiction

Off-road/sand-rail product, gallery and manufacturing work expands the connected motorsports/fabrication network.

2007

The network accelerates

Salt Creek Signs, Sand Dunes Racing, PSI Power / PSI Carbs, No Affiliation Skate Shop and The NecessiTeas appear in the surviving project record.

2008–2014

Sites become infrastructure

TyFactor is running websites, stores, forums, business email, domains, hosting, analytics and long-term technical support across multiple businesses.

2010s–2020s

Engineering gets deeper

Software quality, APIs, automation, accessibility, systems validation, product engineering, CGI/3D and later AI become part of the broader TyFactor technical foundation.

2026

TyFactor Utah becomes explicit again

The modern Utah lane combines that history with Google acquisition, attribution, automation, software and AI for owner-operated businesses.

Early TyFactor

Business systems before “full stack” became the sales phrase.

TyFactor's early work crossed multiple technical disciplines because small-business problems rarely stay inside one specialty.

Identity & creative

Logos, site visual systems, print art, vehicle/product imagery, business cards and production assets.

Web & content

Sites, galleries, owner-managed content, photo categories, forums, product catalogs and quote/contact flows.

Ecommerce

Stores, product imports, payments, shipping logic and order troubleshooting.

Infrastructure

Hosting, DNS, registrar transfers, domains, business email, migrations and recovery.

Measurement

Website statistics, traffic/referral reports and customer-action evidence.

Owner handoff

Teaching owners to operate their systems instead of hiding the controls.

Referral network

K&T → Salt Creek → Four Wheel Addiction is the story in miniature.

Salt Creek Signs contacted TyFactor after seeing the K&T site. While looking through TyFactor work, Salt Creek recognized a sand rail on the Four Wheel Addiction site because Salt Creek had painted it. That is the Northern Utah overlap: shops, suppliers, vehicles, trades, recreation, owners and referrals crossing into one another in real life.

WHY THE WORK GOT MORE TECHNICAL

Local-business practicality, backed by engineering discipline.

TyFactor's local-business history runs alongside our software engineering and quality background: Microsoft software test and release work, enterprise QA, APIs and regression, accessibility/WCAG, automation, product engineering and modern AI systems. That background is why TyFactor Utah can move from a landing page to call attribution to a custom utility without treating each problem as a separate agency upsell.

Early TyFactor work included websites, custom content tools, forums, ecommerce, hosting/DNS/email, graphics/branding, CGI/3D product visualization and traffic measurement. Current work includes Google customer acquisition, attribution/telemetry, automation, AI systems, custom software/tools and quality engineering.

How TyFactor works

Systems owners can keep.

Client ownership

The client owns the finished campaign, accounts, domain, website, analytics, tracking, data and configuration.

Finite deliverables

A working documented baseline can stand on its own. Ongoing work can be chosen when it has a reason.

Private method, transparent result

TyFactor keeps campaign-shaping reasoning proprietary while the customer can see and control the final system.
